CIRO to Hold a Disciplinary Hearing for Omar Gouda

Montréal (Québec), August 23, 2024 – A hearing has been scheduled before a hearing panel of the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO) pursuant to the Investment Dealer and Partially Consolidated Rules in the matter of Omar Gouda.
The hearing is open to the public unless the panel orders otherwise. The decision of the hearing panel will be made available at www.ciro.ca.

The hearing concerns allegations that Omar Gouda failed to use due diligence to ensure his recommendations to a client were suitable and engaged in excessive trading in the client accounts.

At the times of the contraventions, Omar Gouda was a Registered Representative at Research Capital Corporation, a CIRO-regulated firm. Omar Gouda is currently employed by and registered with another CIRO-regulated firm.
