MFDA reschedules date for motion in the matter of Kindle Blythe and Mohammad Movassaghi

September 3, 2019 (Toronto, Ontario) – The Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada (“MFDA”) commenced a disciplinary proceeding in respect of Kindle Briten Megan Blythe (“Blythe”) and Mohammad Movassaghi (“Movassaghi”) (or together referred to as the “Respondents”) by Notice of Hearing dated March 21, 2019.

An appearance in this proceeding was held on August 30, 2019 by teleconference before a Hearing Panel of the MFDA’s Pacific Regional Council.

Following submissions by the parties, the pre-hearing motion, originally set to take place on September 4, 2019, has been rescheduled to October 10, 2019, commencing at 10:00 a.m. (Pacific), or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, in the hearing room at the British Columbia Securities Commission, 701 West Georgia Street, Suite 1200, Vancouver, British Columbia. The proceeding will be open to the public, except as may be required for the protection of confidential matters.

A copy of the Notice of Hearing is available on the MFDA website at www.mfda.ca. During the period described in the Notice of Hearing, the Respondents carried on business in the Vancouver, British Columbia area.
